Ambulatory service — and we say so plainly. IRide currently provides ambulatory transportation (curb-to-curb and door-to-door) for riders who can walk or self-transfer with minimal assistance. Our story
The Auzennes have been moving Acadiana to better health since 2016, when they launched their first transportation company and grew it into a trusted local name. In 2020 they relaunched as IRide Transportation — a new chapter with the same mission: remove the transportation barriers that stand between people and the care they need.
In rural Acadiana, a missed ride can mean a missed diagnosis.
Transportation is one of the most common reasons people miss or delay medical care — and missed appointments drive avoidable emergencies and higher costs across the whole system.
